The service
A Deep Clean for Hard Surfaces
Hard surfaces around the home slowly disappear under a film of algae, moss and ingrained grime, and a driveway or patio that's turned green and slippery can make the whole property look tired. Professional pressure washing strips all of that back, bringing block paving, flags, concrete, brick and tarmac back to how they should look.
ECR matches the pressure and technique to each surface, so the dirt lifts without pitting the concrete, stripping pointing or damaging the finish. Weeds and moss are cleared as we go, and for block paving the joints can be re-sanded afterwards to keep the blocks stable and slow down how quickly the green comes back.

Common questions
Pressure Washing FAQs
What surfaces can you pressure wash?
Driveways, patios, paths, steps, yards, and brick or rendered walls, among others. The pressure and technique are matched to the surface so it comes up clean without any damage, since brick, render and stone all respond differently to the same setting.
Will pressure washing damage my block paving?
Not when it's done properly. A controlled pressure suited to the blocks is used, and the joints can be re-sanded afterwards, which keeps everything stable and slows down weed and moss regrowth.
Can you get rid of moss, weeds and stains?
Moss, algae, weeds and general grime lift easily. Oil and rust marks can be tackled too, though very deep stains may lighten rather than vanish completely, and it's always worth being upfront about what's genuinely achievable.
Is pressure washing safe for render and brickwork?
It can be, provided the pressure is kept low enough and the nozzle isn't held too close to the surface. Older or softer render and pointing are more vulnerable to damage than modern, harder finishes, and too much force can strip paint or wash out mortar joints.
How much does pressure washing cost?
Cost depends on the size of the area, the surface material and how much dirt, moss or staining has built up. A small path or set of steps costs considerably less than a full driveway or a wall covering the side of a building. Providing rough dimensions and a photo when requesting a quote usually gives a more accurate price.
How do I choose the right pressure washing company?
Look for a contractor who asks about the surface material before quoting, since brick, render, stone and concrete all need different pressure settings and techniques. A willingness to explain which areas might not respond well to pressure washing, rather than promising a perfect result on every surface, is a reasonable sign of honest advice.
What to expect
Before Any of That Starts
A free quote is based on the size of the area, the surface material and how much build-up there is, with rough dimensions and a photo usually enough for an accurate price. Pressure and technique are matched to the material before work starts. Weeds and moss are cleared as standard, and block paving can be re-sanded on request for a longer-lasting finish.
